Although the SYNC has landed near bottom of our review, it is still a good cellular phone that will take care of many of your music needs.
The SYNC can download a variety of music formats including MP3, AAC and WMA and more. Many music phones only allow you to download songs from their own music store. The Sync is compatible several services including Yahoo! Music, eMusic and Napster. Additionally, you can receive streaming TV and Radio through MobiTV and MobiRadio. It also supports stereo Bluetooth.
LG conveniently places your play, stop and skip buttons directly on the front. This way you don’t have to open your phone to access your music. Unfortunately, the SYNC only has about 30MB of internal memory. In order to use this phone to it’s fullest you would have to buy an external memory card.
One of the best features on this phone is that it is a quad-band world phone that comes with AT&T’s 3G network. This means the phone can be used just about anywhere in the world and it’s 3G HSDPA capabilities allow for faster download times.
This phone is equip with a 2 mega pixel camera, AT&T’s MEdiaNet, video capture and MMS.
This phone is also know as the Cingular SYNC, AT&T SYNC and the Samsung SGH-s707. If you’re looking for a basic music cell phone without a slew of fancy features the SYNC is a safe bet.
