The Nokia 5300 XpressMusic is a compact slider phone that’s designed around practicality and ease of use. The areas that contains the MP3 player buttons are rubberized, which not only adds tactility to the buttons but also makes the phone more resilient to bumps and grime.
The phone has all of the basic functions of an MP3 player and is compatible with MP3, WMA, ACC (iTunes) and Midi formats. This is one of the few phones in this review that also has a radio.
As far as phone features, the Nokia XpressMusic has voice commands and a speakerphone. You can also do basic text messaging (SMS) as well as multimedia text messaging (MMS).
Though the Nokia is compact phone, you are still able to access full Internet pages. This is especially impressive considering the affordable price tag of $99.99.
